The IDC24-A is a DIN rail-mounted diagnostics controller that offers an efficient and straightforward method for conducting partial- and full-stroke tests, as well as monitoring and diagnosing critical valve systems.  

The controller is designed for use with existing systems or by customers who have their own explosion-proof housing. It is compatible with all types of valve systems, including 1oo1, 1oo2, 2oo2, and HIPPS systems.  

The controller features a local user interface for configuring and controlling the valve system, along with indicator LEDs to display its status. Communication options for this unit include 4-20mA – HART transmitter loop, Modbus, and Foundation Fieldbus.

User interface

Local display control is available for the IDC24-A controller, granting full access to configure the controller and control the valve system. Furthermore, the IDC24-A is equipped with various indicator LEDs that show the status of the system.

Graphical display and control buttons

The display is a four lined graphical display with backlight feature and adjustable contrast.

On the display you can see the status of the valve system, check position & pressure, start tests and perform diagnostics.

  • Red: Indicates system error
  • Green: Indicates System OK

USB

The USB connection can be used to connect the IDC24 to a PC with ValConnect installed. ValConnect can be used to configure and control the IDC24 from the PC.
