Product information

With this unique product it is very easy to test a valve system. It can be used for the following systems:

  • Modulating and on/off systems
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic
  • Rotary and linear
  • Double acting and spring return

Because of the compact and mobile design the VSTC can be used in the workshop or on inspections in the field.
The VSTC makes automatic tests of the valve system and stores all valve system data on a pc, with the software included in the kit. With these data it is easy to generate reports showing information and graphs of the valve system performance.



The Valve System Test Centre software is designed to automate the test and give an easy overview of the testresult.

The following tests can be performed:

  • Stroke test
  • System test
  • Step test
  • Life cycle test
  • Deadband test
  • Pressure test
  • Pressure switch test
  • Flushing sequence

Licence and updates

1 licences is delivered with every VSTC unit. Licence includes the following:

  • Support by phone and e-mail for 1 year
  • Free upgrade 1 year

It is possible to expand the support and upgrade.


Enclosure types 

All modules are available in two enclosure types.

19" 2U rack modules

VSTC 19 Rack front

This enclosure is designed to be mounted in a 19" rack.

Desktop Stackable modules

VSTC Desktop front

This enclosure is stackable and designed to be placed directly on the desktop.


VSTC: Val Controls Test Centre

VSTC Rack front

This module is containing the main unit for the VSTC.


  • AO: 1 x 4-20mA output
  • AI: 4 x 4-20mA input
  • DI: 2 x digital inputs
  • DO: 3 x 24VDC output


  • Main power supply. 110-240VAC
  • USB-B for connection to PC
  • Expansion port for auxiliary power and expansion module

VSTC-E: Expansion

This module is to expand the in- and ouputs on the VSTC.


  • AO: 1 x 4-20mA output
  • AI: 1 x 4-20mA input
  • DI: 4 x digital inputs
  • DO: 3 x 24VDC output


  • Expansion port for auxiliary power and VSTC module


VSTC-IS: Intrinsically safe

VSTC IS Rack front

This module is for converting signals to be able to test intrinsically safe systems like positioners, solenoid valves etc.


  • AO: 1 x 4-20mA output
  • AI: 1 x 4-20mA input
  • DO: 3 x 24VDC output 

VSTC-COM: Communication

VSTC COM front

To be able to connect with the tested units for testing the communication system. The module can be delivered complete or only specific modules and can be expanded later if more communication options are needed.

VSTC-PP: Pneumatic positioner

This module is for testing and controlling pneumatic positioners.


  • 3-15psi control signal
  • Pressure regulator and flow sensor for supply
  • 2 x flow sensors for actuator supply and exhaust

VSTC-C: costumized

We can also build a combination of some of the modules in a costumized solution making it simple and compact. Contact us for more details on this solution.
