Advanced Valve Diagnostics Controller i a flame- and explosion proof enclosure

The standard configuration of the IDC24-AF is designed to be able to handle all tasks a diagnostic controller could be used for. Furthermore it is equipped with an extension interface which makes it possible to add extra hardware functionality on customer request.

The Flame and explosion proof enclosure made in stainless steel extra-low carbon with an exceptional resistance corrosion against sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic, and tartaric acids; as well as against acid sulfates and alkaline chlorides.

Control and monitoring



The display is a four lined graphical display with backlight feature and adjustable contrast.

On the display you can see the status of the valve system, check position & pressure, start tests and perform diagnostics.


Indication LEDs

The LED indicators can display various messages;

• Valve open or closed

• Valve movement in progress

• ESD active

• MTControl locked or unlocked

• Local control mode enabled

• If the pump active

USB connection

The USB connection can be used to connect the IDC24 to a PC with ValConnect installed. ValConnect can be used to configure and control the IDC24 from the PC.

The MTControl eliminates the need to open the units Ex D enclosure to operate the push buttons. The magnetic sensors placed below the push buttons, will detect magnetic signals from the MTControl pen provided by Val Controls.
